How I use the information you give me when you book a chat through this website.

What I collect
When you book a chat at aafke.co.uk/talktome, the form asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- what you'd like to chat about, if you choose to say
That's the minimum needed to arrange the meeting. The site has no accounts, and doesn't use analytics or advertising.
How I use it
Only to arrange and manage the meeting you asked for: to send you a calendar invitation, set up the Google Meet, and get in touch about the meeting if I need to. Your information is never sold, and never used for advertising or marketing.
Where it's stored
Bookings are made in my Google Calendar. When you book, the calendar event for your chosen time is updated with your details, you're added as a guest, and a Google Meet is created for it. Google then emails you the invitation.
Your booking details are stored in Google Calendar, not in a separate database on this website. Google handles them as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Cancelling
Your booking includes a cancellation link. It contains a random code, and a copy of that code is stored privately on the calendar event, so only someone with your link can cancel the booking.
When you cancel, your name, email address, phone number, message, the Google Meet and the cancellation code are all removed from the event, and the time becomes available to book again.
Google Calendar access
The booking system connects only to my own Google Calendar. It reads it to find the times I've marked as available, and edits those events to make and cancel bookings. It never accesses your Google account.
Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Visiting the website
This website is hosted by a web hosting provider and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser connects to those services, which can see technical information such as your IP address.
Questions
If you have any questions about your information, including asking to see it or have it removed, email aafkedailycalendar@gmail.com.
